I'm 6 foot 250 lbs. My wife is a foot shorter and less than half my weight. It works for both of us. It's easy to assemble, sturdy, compact, and has a wider resistance range, and with a full tank and resistance, even I can get enough exercise.

I rowed a single shell for many years and a rowing machine in a gym for many more but having this in my house is terrific. Very affordable, quick to assemble, feels great, and can be rolled around with ease. The sound of the water makes it sound like I'm on the lake, and paired with the magnetic automatic resistance adjustment, it feels really good.
Now I look forward to bad weather when I don't feel like hiking or biking. Also great for relaxing before or after skiing.

I was hesitant to buy the row machine, mostly because it looked so big, and i thought there would be assembly required. But the machine came mostly pre-assembled and folds down to only half its length. Its construction is very solid and feels very sturdy. When in use, the seat glides effortlessly on its rails, and the water wheel makes a very calming (puts you in the zone) sound. I'm very happy with my purchase.
