We are designing and discussing adjustable dumbbells in 5 lb increments. But due to the material (full cast iron) and structure (dovetail structure) of the Snode adjustable dumbbells, it is very difficult for us to realize this. So there is no estimated launch time yet. But one thing for sure, it will not be launched in the near future. We may soon launch 5LB magnetic blocks to attach to the adjustable dumbbells to solve this problem.

Yes, they feel like traditional dumbbells. The Snode adjustable dumbbell set have comparable knurling and the size of the dumbbell is similar to those you find at your local gym. Also, the plates are round and not very huge. And the shaft will not stick out from the iron plate.
Sure you can! We have our own factory, and we can provide any parts related to the dumbbells, from the cradle to the gears and screws inside the handle.
The inner rod of the AD80 dumbbell set is made of aluminum, so it's metal.
The all-cast iron dovetail structure not only makes Snode adjustable dumbbells drop-proof and durable, but can also makes dumbbell plates be structurally linked to each so that they will not fall. Regarding the structure of our adjustable dumbbells, the inner rod in the center is not stressed, the stress point of our dumbbell AD80 is our uniquely designed dovetail groove, that is, the trapezoidal groove on the dumbbell plate, and the rod only plays the role of adjusting the selection.
First, the Snode adjustable dumbbells save space and time compared to traditional dumbbells. These AD80s feel high quality. The grips are a bit wider and have a great feel, the knurling on the handles feels great. I’ve used other adjustable dumbbells in the past and the balance felt off because of the design. These feel like a standard dumbbell in shape with a great balance and feel to them. The connections between the plates are cast and seem very sturdy. I’m glad I went with the AD80s, they’ve been great so far and worth every penny.

We’ve had a set of 552’s for 3-4years, and we wanted to add the heavier 490’s from bowflex. They’re awfully high for what they are and stay the same static length like the 552’s. During the ol scamdemic, when we HAD to build a home gym, we settled for what we could find for use since you know, let’s close down all facilities for healthy people to stay healthy, makes perfect sense, causing everybody and their mother to buy every available piece of equipment locally and on the internet.
After research and watching a pretty comical mustache guy review and destroy several brands, I decided between these and nubell dumbbells.
After reading only the 1-star reviews on each site, I overwhelmingly decided on the Snodes. More metal, less plastic, less problems. Coupled with the available stand, it’s exactly what we were looking for.
These are awesome dumbbells, the grips are the same as quality gym dumbbells. These blow the Bowflex out of the water, so I’m glad I found the crazy mustached guy.
Waited about 2 weeks for the stand, and I can state these are easier to rack with the stand as opposed to no stand, on the floor. The stand keeps the cradle base square.
The only gripe I have is they don’t have a flat spot, so they can roll away. Minor annoyance, and the only thing I’d change if I could.

These dumbbells are more than I expected, very solid and well made. With weights ranging from 10 to 80 pounds, I can easily customize the load for different exercises and progressively challenge myself. The cast iron construction is robust, providing a solid and reliable feel with every lift. They’re built to withstand intense workouts and daily use, and I appreciate their stability and balance during movements. The knurled handles are comfortable to grip, reducing strain on my hands and wrists, and the overall build feels secure and well-engineered.

It really is as simple as placing the weight in the cradle(the cradle is cast iron too), turning the dial to the weight you desire, then lifting the weight back up and you are ready to go. Over the past 8 months these weights have been banged around, one was dropped from about 3 feet up, and used in all of my exercise routines. After all the use and occasional punishment, I can tell you these weights don't even have a scuff mark on them: no chips, cracks, bends, rust (the stay in a humid environment)or signs of visible wear and tear.

Had the bowflex adjustables and these Snode adjustables blow them out of the water. The "feel" of the weight mimics traditional dumbells, the quality of these feel like they will never break no matter how many times there dropped, and most of all there super comfortable to rest on your thighs where so many others feel terrible. Only cons are the 10lb increments and it only goes up to max of 80lbs. Would like to see these come in 100s. Still these are a must have for a home gym.
